Meditation for CIRS (Repeating on Mondays)
Are you on the path of recovery for CIRS (Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome) and looking to meditate in community?
Come along Monday evenings and learn how to mindfully explore your body, heart and mind through meditation with other CIRS folks who “get it.”
This weekly drop-in meditation class rooted in the foundations of mindfulness will be taught by Melanie Pensak, Certified Mindfulness Teacher, Shoemaker Proficiency Provider Diplomate and CIRS patient.
Each 30- minute session includes:
- A brief teaching on a mindfulness topic related to CIRS recovery
- A guided meditation related to the teaching
- Time for questions and reflection with the community
Sessions are designed to be short and accessible for those in all stages of recovery and energy levels.
You’re invited to show up however you are, wherever you are that day for a trauma-informed mindfulness session that can help calm your limbic system and provide you with tools to navigate the CIRS healing journey.
The sessions run every Monday for 30 minutes @ 4 PM PST/7 PM EST through the online meditation membership platform. Choose CIRS Premier or CIRS Only Package Membership through The Practice Portal.
